Editorial
The World of AI is a very useful and impressive mod, one that is worth having whether you use FSX or FS2004. This mod is a simple and effective tool that looks to sort out the issues with the AI that, let’s be frank, can be awful at times.
With this installer you have an easy way to install version 2.4 and beyond of this popular modification. If you want to install any later updates, then you do have to download this first as it’s one of the foundation editions of the mod.
Compatible with both FSX and FS2004, I found that using this to install World of AI was so much more useful than trying to do so manually. This also helps to correct an annoying bug that was stopping people from installing if they used the Frontier Express package. Now corrected, you should have no problems whatsoever in getting this excellent mod to install.
If you are going to carry out a manual installation, this is useful to have, too, as it helps to de-compile flight plans to TXT files.
Peter van der Veen is a talented and useful developer, and his coding expertise has made what has routinely been a very frustrating process so much simpler. I used to find the installation of World of AI to be a time consuming and irritating process, but this makes a semi-regular routine so much simpler and less stressful than it was without the use of this particular installer.
